BPL has implemented two brand new lasers; the TRUMPF 7020 and TRUMPF 3030 to increase capacity and capability in the laser department. Capable of cutting up to 20mm mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium the Trumpf 3030 offers leading cutting speeds and also hosts an automation facility to allow lights out running and 24 hour production capacity. The 7020 offers vital capacity support to the 7040 for high tolerance 5-axis cutting, perfect for any outsource requirements or utilised in our ‘turnkey’ operations where we can also look after all design, simulation tooling and press work. The investment has created 3 new full time jobs which have been filled and a great boost to the profile of the company.
